Google startup

This is what comes up as my google startup page. When I hit the + key in the upper left corner, I get the startup page with all my quickstart icons, which is what I want here when I start Google. I can't figure out why one is correct, and this one is lacking.

Go to settings and then go to on startup and make sure this option is checked.
