Google toolbar

I was told to get the google toolbar becuase i heard it was good at stopping pop ups but I have no idea how to block anything could someone help!

if you have winxp w/sp2 then it already has a pop-up blocker. As for the google toolbar, it should automatically stop pop-ups once you install it. And not all pop-ups get stopped, but most of them do.

It says on it 0 blocked im really getting run over by pop-ups lately!

Are you able to click on the "0"? There may be a menu that pops down, if it does make sure that it says "enabled".

Any popup blocker will block pop ups but it will never block them all

zilch, nada, zero....

i get 0 pop ups because my firefox cant open another window. i kind of broke my browser but it gives me other troubles tho. the only ads i get are those animated ones that slide on to the page and cover the download buttons. other than that, im Truly 100% pop-up free

that was pretty nice for IE, but mozilla has its own popup blocker so that's good.
