Hey, on my old computer, google video was not bad resolution, but now all videos are very pixelated. Is this because of a particular setting on my computer? Please help, thanks in advance.

Yes, i know this, but on my old computer, the quality was fine (i tested same video on old pc and new pc) and the old pc runs it fine, but my new pc runs it pixelated. why?

Do you have updated drivers? And are the display settings on both computers pretty much the same?

It could be internet issues...if your internet speed is slower, I do believe that the quality is lower so that it can still stream it without stopping every 5 seconds.

And todd, since Google owns YouTube, and Google is a huge corporation, I would say Google is YouTube's big brother.

What is the resoultion on both computers? To check right click on your desktop>>Properties>>Advanced. There it should say 1280x1024, or 1024x768, 800x600

Go to the settings on Google Video, there will be something there about your internet connection, default is like dial up quality, so you have to turn it up to a higher one.

My old computer's resolution was 800x600, mine is 1280x1024. So mine should be same or better quality!! Thanks burger bob, ill try that.
