Got a laptop

My cousin gave me a free laptop. HP Pavilion Entertainment Center. Model name HP Pavilion dv9000. It has a AMD 64 Athlon x2 Nividia graphics. Windows vista. Here's the catch the keyboard had soda poured on it. But rest works. My main question. Is it worth putting money into. I was gunna throw a ssd in it an new keyboard an use it for a beat around machine.
 
What is the full model number? Should be a sticker on the bottom with the full number on it.
 
Ehh I probably wouldn't spend money on it unless you have a use for a laptop. An old Athlon dual core won't do you any favors.
