Its both motherboard and videocard...

Ive bought a new graphiccard and a new motherboard..My computer turns on and works, but i cant get the screen to show. Everything is new so it should work.

Could the problem be drivers? Cause i got my old Harddisk and i didnt install the drivers for the graphiccard or motherboard...should i do this?

How can i fix this problem..thanks for answers.

The drivers would probably be a help, i would install the drivers before the graphics card, because that way you can see what you doing:P
and are you sure the graphics card is installed properly?

To install a new motherboard, it is required that you reinstall windows. If you want to save anything on the hd, you will have to plug it into another pc, as all info will be deleted.

Yes, but the screen wont work so how should i install windows :P I havent installed any drivers but i know the grphiccard is in the right slot.

Is there an on board gfx card, and the new one? If there is one onboard, try the monitor cable in there. Go into bios an disable the onboard one.

When the Pc "starts" do you hear any beeps?

hmm its connected but no sound..could it be clear RTC ram...it says something about that in the manual, im not sure if thats gonna help

Some cards require you to download the GART driver before installing certain cards on certain chipsets. What graphics card and what chipset do you have?
