Got a video card with this pc, is it compatible? please help

Will this work? Because i'm not opening up the video card unless it works

tough to say dude, eeek thats an old gpu. do this, take off the side panel of that pc and look at the motherboard. look at the long slots that match the connector on that video card. some are labeled "pci express 2.0 x16" etc. there should be at least 1. if you see it, it should work.

It doesnt say anything about pci express, it just show the LAN i.d and thats the only long slot

This is how big the card is, 6.32" X 2.71". Measure inside the case where the PCIe slot is and see if you have room.

From the end of the slot to the back of the pc is only like 5.25"

Not from the end of the slot. From the case panel where the card fits to the back of the case.

From the panel to as far back in the case till it would hit something. Plus what kind of power supply does it have. A 8400 doesn't pull much, but if it has one of those 200W OEM things. It might not be a good idea.

thats definitely a valid pcie slot. but like above, dont use that psu if its the oem crappy one
