whatcha think? its $1,187 shipped with 100 dollars in rebates. pretty good for $1,087 bucks? im building it for my uncle and will be ordering it in a day or two. let me know if u have any recomendations.

i also heard that vista and gigabyte are having sound troubles. is that true?

I dont send the rebates for 2 very good reasons-

1. If you send them you can not send your item back for refund OR replacement if something goes wrong (say so on newegg)

2. You barely get any time to send them in and i quickly becomes an issuse of "do I want my money, or do I want to make sure that if something goes wrong I can send it back?"

ya, hes not a gamer at all, but i was also looking at that 7600gt too. i still haven't totally decided on the graphic card yet. how much better is the GT u think? they're very similar and based off the same platform aren't they?

I would suggest the GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 instead of the GIGABYTE GA-965P-S3, it is more durable and not much more, otherwise the same. All solid capacitors.

I would recommend a different case, look for something with 120mm fans, quieter and moves more air.

Such as this.

It has room for another 120mm fan in the front.

Those are my suggestions.
