well got my cpu fan and going to need some help....

can some 1 lead me to the place where it shows how to properly apply/remove thermal compund.....

fan is an ultra fire cpu fan...

i dont know about removing but applying i know. its easy. u put a small amount in the center and u can put ur finger in a plastic grocery bag and use that as a glove to spread it around.
 
Removing is easy you just take rubbing alcohol and cotton balls or Kleenex. You rub the CPU and heat sink until no more paste is left.

You do not have to spread it, if you get the bead of compound in the middle, then when you press down the heat sink, clamp it, and turn the computer on, it will spread evenly itself. Just make sure you put the heatsink on well and evenly.
 
do I even need to remove it because i have a heatsink/fan on there with compound but all i need to do is add the new one.....

do i still need to remove to thermal compound?

its pretty new i mean i added the stuff about a month or so ago..
