Got my first apple laptop today....

Is it me or is the macbook pro alot faster browsing the internet than my pm? Im using safari on the macbook and on the pc i use firefox. Internet is coming from my personal hotspot on my iphone. Why does the mac browse the web so much faster than the pc.

Well for one thing, Firefox sucks, and your PC might have not been very fast either.

Also, Safari kinda sucks too, I'd use Chrome if I were you.

I think it is your Mac. It's so much faster than any computer I had in the past.

It would depend on your specks of both, and how much ram both has...

Comparing a brand new Mac to a 5 year old PC isn't a fair comparison, of course the new machine will be faster.
