Got new computer, freezes alot.

Hey guys, im new here and as you can see I already have a problem :mad: ,

I bough a new computer of TigerDirct.

its nice and all and a pretty good computer ( heres a link to it) . its their best selling computer. Well anyways i defragged it of all the junk they have installed on it and it still runs like crap. I used to have a junky old laptop that ran smoother than this computer. it constantly laggs up and sometimes freezes up. (about 2 time in 1 hour)


Plz help me im so lost!

its processor is pretty bad but do you have a virus software

1. Look at the pricetag :)
2. You can get antivirus software separately ...
3. Regarding the processor... i have a feeling its one of the messed up onboard CPU configurations (and yes i said onboard CPU) (translation = you're not gonna be able to upgrade the CPU with that motherboard)
 
i doubt it.. i think its the processor because when i do somthing like listen to music and type it laggs up. .and then somtimes when i watch videos and listen to music it freezes?

Most likely software or hdd being the bottleneck (or even ram but not likely for Mp3s)
 
for $549.99 it a decent deal and it should not freeze like that. I would try formatting it and reinstalling every thing and see if that helps.
