hi guys,

this is following up from my old messages about my old dell, one of the primary schools were i work gave me there pc that they were gonna scrap i plugged it in and all works fine but i want to update the BIOS and ive been on there website and i cant seem to find it, its a
ELONEX PROSENTIA

PS.if it helps,
specs p4 1.5ghz 256mb 40gb, ive swapped the hd with my one the WD 500gb
 
Well updating the BIOS can be tricky and difficult to do depending how they want you to update it. For systems as old as yours, it may be hard, if not downright impossible, to find the BIOS update or any support info. The best advice I can give you is to Google your desktop model and bios update. If nothing comes up, then it may not be out there anymore.
 
Yea, updating a Dell bios is basically impossible, has a high rate of failure and screw ups are not undo-able. It's not worth the risk/time.
