Ok I got my new 750i FTW and an E8400 currently it's clocked at 3.8 ghz. it avereages 53c under load and spiked at 59c. Idle is around 36c. I am using realtemp to monitor it. Is real temp reliable?
Also when I was installing the cpu cooler I was having alot of trouble with the pins staying in and it took me about twenty minutes. I put in on and off repeatedly. Finially I took the whole mobo out and it worked. Im sure the thermal pased is all messed up. Should I redo it? I have a freezer7 pro btw.
As far as memory goes, should I overclock? I have oxz platinum ddr2 dual channel 800mhz. what should I be able to get out of the memory?
