GPU advice

I ask a friend about on what GPU to get and he told me to get
the Sapphire 5850 extreme.
I really dont play that much games only sc2 and im waiting for diablo3 to come out. would i under utilize the GPU?
my plan was to buy a high end computer so i wont be upgrading for 6 years to come.
also if i ever keep get that card what games that matches the gpu?
 
sry, idk why i posted those, yeah the 5850 would be better, but the site i was looking on doesn't carry them anymore so was trying to guess the general price it might be aroung, but i think the 465 might be better, will check now

The GTX 460 has the revised GF 104 chip and the 465 still runs the GF100 chip (not good with power heat etc. why loads of people hated the 470 and 480 when it came out) The 460 outperformed the 465. Reading some reviews I saw that the gtx 460 is slightly under the 5850.

So if I am right 465<460<5850.

Get the 5850 if you can get it for a good price.
 
A new 5850 will run around 180/230 bucks, if you can find a new one. I woud just get a 6870 if you spending around that for a 5850.
