Depends on what Psu it is....and what the rest of his specs are.

I dont think the 8400GS would consume all that much,However you do know that its a realy poor card for gaming?

Cons: I bought this to replace my GeForce FX5200 256 MB card. I was hoping that I could finally play some of my games that were either seriously lagging performance wise or wouldn't play because of the requirement for Pixel Shader.
Unfortunately, this card was woefully lacking in performance.

And thats comming from a User than previusly had a FX5200

well right now he can play half life two with a igpu with 64mb lol so what would be a good upgrade for around the same price as the card i posted a link of?
