GPU Overclock

My stock settings on both cards I assume, are Core Clock - 600, Shader Clock - 1500, and Memory Clock - 900.

I'm using EVGA Precision.

What should I clock it to, to notice a difference in games?

And what do I run to stress it, to see if it's stable?

Also, atm, my CPU is at 3.60GHz.

Thanks.

i got my 8800GT up to 722/964 and it was stable playing games. i did a crysis benchmark test and got 40 fps which was good enough for me, at 600/900 i was getting around 22 fps. try putting yours to the same and see how you get on.

This is in the wrong section by the way, could someone move it if it possible.

Thanks, and how is it in the wrong section, wasn't it originally posted in the Overclocking section?

i got a 88oogt.where it the oc options hid at.my last card was a radeon and it was in the catalyst controls.i don,t see any thing like that for my geforce in nividia's controls.

Yeah, you'd see a difference, I got my 8800GTS up to 800/2000/1000 and I noticed a huge difference. To test for stability, use ATITool ;)
