Gpu suggestions?

Could anyone please answer my question? lol

If your referring to an actual dollar amount a given discount might be, it is tough to say. We can expect some discounts, but unless you work for the various retailers any guess would be pure speculation.

Looking at all these graphs, the gtx 1060 is much faster. https://www.hardwareunboxed.com/gtx-1060-vs-rx-480-fx-showdown/
How thick are you in the head? did you like scrolled through only the first 4 graphs and came to the conclusion that it's much faster? Did you look at all the graphs? because if you did, you would've found out that it isn't much faster as you're claiming.

As much as I like nvidia products, don't cloud your judgement from fanboyism.

So if you all were to pick on black friday between the 2 cards, 1060 or the rx480 which one would you guys choose? and which one? (3gb or 6gb for 1060) Or would it make alot more sense to save a bit more and get the 1070, but to me thats like saying oh then save a bit more and get the 1080. The general question is which one is the best price to performance?

No point in best $/performance if you can't afford it right? The 1070 is probably at the upper limit for a sensible purchase for average joes... (this is coming from a guy who bought a 1080 so... yeah.)

It all comes down to, if you can afford the 1070, go for it. If not, I will target the 6gb version of the 1060 as that is actually slightly faster than the 3gb version (not because of the size of the memory, but because it actually has slightly more cuda cores). If you can't afford a 1060, well go for a RX470. It's really only slightly below a RX480 but at a decent amount cheaper.

First of all, don't insult me. You should look at all the graphs as I did. It's much faster as can be obviously seen. Also, take the minimum frames into consideration too. I do consider 20% faster to be considered "much faster" by the way... in case that's what's differing in our views.

Then stop being thick.

It's not 20% faster across all games.

I can give you "a 1070 is much faster than the 480", but no one with any common sense will say the 1060 is much faster than the rx480.
If you're going to continue to be disrespectful, we're done talking. It doesn't have to be 20% faster across all games to be considered much faster. Some games it can be 30% faster while others 10% faster. That's still much faster. Furthermore, the rx480 can't oc as well as the 1060.

If you're going to continue to be wrong, we're done talking.

The discussion about the 1060 vs 480 has been done to death on a dozen different forums and the general conclusion has always been the 1060 is faster than the rx480, but not by a lot as you're claiming.

Not the attitude I'd expect from a VIP member...

It does indeed seem that the 1060 is generally a bit faster than the 480: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1748?vs=1771

Not that it really matters because there's not an awful lot between them. I'd just choose whichever I could get the best deal on if I wasn't specifically looking for one or the other (not sure if you're definitely set on getting AMD or NVIDIA?)

opinions that are represented in graphs? lol.
So much graphs right?

Much graphs, such wow. Sure looks like opinions to me.

You might want to reconsider spewing out numerical values with no calculations because unlike you, other people actually spent the time to analyze it.

Don't want to read it? Here's a summary one of them wrote.
However here are a few of the highlights from my findings:
  • On average, a 1060 is 13.72% better than a 480.
  • On average, when using DX11, a 1060 is 15.25% better than a 480.
  • On average, when using DX12, a 1060 is 1.02% worse than a 480.
  • On average, when using Vulkan, a 1060 is 27.13% better than a 480.
  • AMD won in 11.36% of DX11 titles, 71.43% of DX12 titles, and 50% of Vulkan titles.
  • The most commonly reviewed games were AotS, Hitman, RotTR, the Division, GTA V, and the Witcher 3.
Well would you look at that. It's on average only 13.72% faster than a 480. Sure doesn't look like 20% to me. If you look at the actual excel spreadsheet from the second link, you'll find that there's only 2 Vulkan benchmarks. Not a great pool of data for that one.

Here's a pic too.

And don't even bother trying to argue with using outliers in the data to back up your statement as that's incorrect interpretation of statistics.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the 1060 isn't a good card, but to say that it's much faster as a blanket statement is false. Both cards are direct competitors of one another, and you won't see significant performance differences both in gaming benchmarks and synthetic benchmarks.
