gpu temp too hot or not

That's about right. GPU's can handle up to 105C, so your O.K. What kind of case do you have and how many fans are you running? Is your card dusty at all?
it seems that after 10 mins the temp drops down to 50 - 60 so i'm not worried but what has happened twice is that i start to lose fps and i look at my card info and the core clock and memory speed drops from 850 to 400 and 1250 to 900 as if teh card has went into eco mode or something only way to fix it is to restart
anu idea why its doing that its only done it twice in 3 months so no idea if its a problem or some mode
