GPU to monitor: enough power?

I can't load the link for some reason(Newegg's been acting up for me the last few hours...) Are you planning on running a game or just general computer stuff? Gaming, yes, you might run into some problems with high res. However, if you just want windows desktop stuff in high res, basic onbaord video should be enough...

So, I redecided the TV situation and now I am looking at a Samsung 22" widescreen monitor.
In this case, say running moderate games, nothing as demanding as say Oblivion on 100% settings, is a 6800xt enough power for the large monitor? If not, how about a 7600gt?

The 7600GT shouldn't be THAT much faster than the 6800XT. But if you are worried about power consumption then definitely go with the 7600GT because its not a power hog.

well just say ill be running it at recommended res. (1680x1050)

and hack im worried that the 6800xt wont have enough juice to run the monitor, not that it eats up power.

rebirthing just so i dont have to open another thread.

22" monitor, still. is a 6800xt (256mb) enough to at least run WoW? (all im playing currently)

Yeah the only other thing to do would be to add another gig of ram to your PC. My 7900GS go ran at 1920/1200 with medium and mostly high settings in raid and PVP situations. At 45+ FPS that is...It should be plenty. If anything your ram is gonna be the bottleneck

My friend, 7600GT is slightly faster than 6800Ultra. So, it is much faster than 6800xt.

Even 6600GT beats 6800xt in most cases

I'm not sure but WoW is not a demanding game
