GPU Upgrade?

Well, I'll buy one 295 right off the bat, then if I need to upgrade, I'll get a second card and probably a 1k watt PSU, and in between that, I'll get a bigger monitor.


Just waiting on a price for the 295s.



What about a 4870X2?

If the 295s are nice, until I get a second one, I could use one of my GTs as a dedicated PhysX card, right?

I'd say it'd be a waste of money. If you aren't having that much of an issue with your SLI setup, I wouldn't bother.

Yeah, I just don't like that I had a problem with them already, and I want to get a good setup so I won't have to upgrade for awhile, but yeah.

I would hold off until the next release of video cards, both ATI and nvidia. Though, since you have a nvidia based motherboard, I'd go with a nvidia card. That way if SLI comes about in the future, its always available. But it always comes down to the price/performance ratio.

The 8800's in SLI are pretty much on par with the GTX280. It's not worth it.
