GPU Upgrade

If you're getting a new CPU you're going to need a new motherboard as well. And RAM if you're still on DDR2. You might as well save and build a whole new system. What would your budget be for something like that?

Not necessarily a motherboard, if he was going to update to a AM3 processor his board probably supports AM3.

But I do agree if he has to get a processor/power supply and video card, I would just hold off and save up to get a AM3+ board and DDR3 memory too.

This is getting a little out of my price range. I think I can only really afford a new PSU, and then possibly a new processor/gpu package from Newegg.

Then it's best to bare with what you have, save a little more money, and wait for new stuff to come out or prices to drop.
