Not so much galore on this one.
Looking for a solid video card for under like 130.
Which one of these (or recommend another in the price range)

ZOTAC ZT-88TES3P-FCP GeForce 8800 GT (ugg, $9 shipping)

EVGA 512-P3-N801-AR GeForce 8800 GT
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130318

I can get the EVGA for around 110.
Is it worth the $25 for the faster clock and the PCI-E 2.0?

Once again, looking for the best bang for my buck and really trying to keep the cost down.

Haha I am looking at that same Zotac. If you are only looking at the 8800GT, then the Zotac AMP! Edition is the best choice by far. It has a metal heatsink and a bigger, quieter fan. So even if you were to overclock a regular 8800GT to that speed, it would get much hotter. Plus the Zotac has an orange LED ;) It's scored higher than the 8800GTS and many of the 8800GTX Ultra's in fps benchmarks. Plus it has very good reviews.

The only reason I haven't bought it yet is because I'm also considering the 9800GTX or 9800GTX+.

Yeah, ive heard really good things about that Zotac, its just the EVGA is so cheap (around 115). 9600GTX are like $65 more than that zotac.

Meh, not a big fan or orange but it really dont care.

Yeah that's true. Well the Zotac is only $20 more with the rebate. I would definitely get the Zotac but I don't know your budget so it's not really my decision.

And as for the 9800GTX, as of now I am almost set on the Zotac for myself. It's just that I just bought an 8600GT about 2 months ago. Pretty soon the 8800GT will become obsolete. If I get the 9800GTX I will be a little more set for the future and I won't be jumping the gun so much. But anyways that's just my problem haha.

I'd say either a 4850 (should be able to find one for less than $150) or the cheapest 8800GT. Anything in between would be a bad choice.

I don't see why the AMP! Edition is a bad choice. You're not paying that much more for it. It performs nothing like the cheapest 8800GT. Every benchmark I've seen about it has passed up the 8800GTS. And the 8800GTS is way more than the AMP! 8800GT. I mean if you're on a really tight budget I would go for the cheapest 8800GT, because it is a very good card. But if you have $20 or $30 breathing room, I wouldn't hesitate to get the Zotac.

No it's not worth it. I don't think ZOTAC comes with what eVGA has, Lifetime Warranty.

Well, if i got that evga, itd be used.

As for the zotac, it says the rebate ends july 31. Does that mean the paper work needs to be shipped the 31st or at their office on the 31st?

Well many rebates are only issued when the price drops because of some release of a new card. When I bought my card, it said the rebate ended at the end of the month, so I hurried up and bought it 5 days before the end of the month. The first day of the next month it issued a new rebate with the same value. Haha I don't know if this is the case, but I don't see it going up in price with the release of the 9800GTX+ and the 9800GT.

Usually the rebate has a month shipping time, or at least two weeks. When they say July 31, that would mean you have at least two weeks after that date to put it in the mail.
