Graphic Card Problem

I think I am having trouble with my graphic card. All of a sudden nothing will display on my monitor except for "your monitor is working please check the connection cable." I know its not the monitor, because when I plug it into another computer it works fine. Everything else still works on the computer. Does anybody know what the problem is?
 
Make sure your video card is installed firmly and not loose. If it still doesn't work it may dead. What video card do you have and how old?
