ok what is, is im building my new computer a have a case which supports a.t and atx mobo, i got it in but my graphic card wont its a geforce 7600gt pci express and i try to put it in it will fit without the case

Does your motherboard have a PCI-E slot? If you're trying to put a PCI-E card into an AGP slot then it's not going to work.

ya, if found this out the hard way when i tried to squeeze an AGP 9800pro into my pci-e spot.

i didn't even know what pci-e was, let alone that i had it :(

he says he can fit it in out of the case
it will fit without the case

try loosening the motherboard screws slightly and sliding the motherboard away from the blanking plates slightly. this might let a little more room to slide the plate into the slot.

you known the socket side where all the plug bit well where you put the screw i can't screw it in without it coming out slightly to one side.

Yea, I think I know what you're talking about. Does it work OK without being screwed in? Just keep trying to wiggle it around.
