Mine does that when I overload it. One of a few things can cause this problem. With my many years of Nvidia usage I have seen this many times and it is always one of these things.
- If you have overclocked it and it can not run with the high settings(core clock, memory clock, shader clock). That will also happen if you have your game settings too high for the card, does the same thing and overloads the card.
- Card overheats and trips it's saftey function and shuts down. What temps is your card when playing? It might be getting too hot.
- Bad drivers. When is the last time you updated the drivers for your card? Just because it is a new computer does not mean it has better drivers.....It actually means the drivers are old.
Go to the nvidia website and install the latest drivers for the card.
