Hey guys i was wondering if anyone could help me out with this. I currently have a 26 inch moniter and im trying to find the best graphics card that i can get for $150 or under. Right now im considering the VisionTek ATI Radeon HD 5670 1 GB GDDR5 PCI Express Graphics Card 900310

http://www.amazon.com/VisionTek-Radeon-Express-Graphics-900310/dp/B003CXWM58

The computer that i have right now is the ET1331G-03w

I have also already bought a 500 watt power supply and put it in. I put the power supply a few months ago but kinda layed off on getting a new graphics card. If anyone can help me out on deciding whats best for my computer and the moniter that it has that would be great.

Games that i want to play with high graphics
Starcraft 2
Aion
World of Warcraft
Call of Duty Black Ops
Need for Speed World

Thanks again.

It depends on the resolution you'll be playing at for a 26 inch monitor. That's a pretty large screen which usually means a very high resolution, which even some of todays top end cards struggle to run with all the eye candy turned on. For $150 and under, with a 500w PSU, you aren't even close to top end. Not saying you can't get a great card, but you can't get the best for cheap. You should still have no problems with most of the games you listed, simply because they aren't particularly demanding, but in some cases you may have to sacrifice some visual quality in exchange for smoother frame rates.

Also, what brand is your power supply? If it's not a high quality unit, you'll probably be cutting it close to run some of the nicer cards suggested in the thread.

Yea that is true the moniter is really big but then again i dont really play all of my games on full screen im used to minimizing them a bit to get better FPS. Right now im considering the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...4125339&cm_re=5670_1gb-_-14-125-339-_-Product

Everyone has written great reviews about it and seem to be pleased with it.

Oh and my power supply is the Eagle ET-PSVT550E

Its actually 550 watts just found that out when i checked the box for the name lol.

Yeah I'd be skeptical with a decent card on that power supply, but the 5670 is energy efficient enough that it shouldn't pose much of a problem. It's not exactly a monster card, but its an awful lot better than the majority of people out there try to game on (Some terribad integrated chipset or something.)
