kk, so i have a nvidea gforce 7800gt 256 ram, i think i can check once i get home, but for the past few days, whenever i am running a game, such as world of warcraft, or lesser graphic intense games like 18 wheels of steel, the video slows down and lags at about 2 fps for a little while, about 15 seconds usually, and then goes back to normal for another minute or so...this is getting annoying, could this be from some program that is running in the background? or is it the graphics card..if it is something in the background, i have no idea what it could be, so if you have any guesses, they would be helpfull. the graphics card is only a month old, so yeah...i dont understand it because the video plays perfectly smoothly at times, like WoW on its highest settings gets 40+fps then just drops down to 3 randomly...its pissing me off so i would like your help to fix it...thank you for any support i get!
edit* the only guess i could come up with was overheating, so i left my computer off for about 14 hours, but the problem was still there..fyi
