Hi!
My brother got a new laptop a while ago. It's a Sony Vaio and the specs are following:
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5500 1,66 GHz
2GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce Go 7400 GPU
Windows Vista
The thing is everything has been working fine for his needs. He's mainly been doing music composing in programs such as Sibelius. But he recently decided to see what kind of games he could get running on his computer. I have checked out his graphics card and it seems like an ok one for a laptop. But the thing is "I just have to say I'm a complete stranger to Vista" that in the performance information on his computer Vista gives him a score of 1,0 in both Graphics and Gaming graphics, saying he basically cant play anything at all.
This while nvidia claims on their homepage that "GeForce Go 7400 and 7300 lets you rip through all of today’s most advanced and cutting-edge games and applications. "
The computer wasn't that cheap and though I know it's not at all meant to function as a gaming machine, at least it should be able to run games to some extent.
I would really appreciate help with this issue. I'm not that good with either laptops or Vista so I'm sorry if im missing something very obvious here.
