Graphics Card Leaving Streaks

i just bought a brand new Asus N6600 because my Radeon 9500 Pro died. :( anyway my problem is now, when i load wow in my top right hand corner two of the icons have streaks of color lines of them, until i minimize they go away. Also in counterstrike when i scope i see streaks and if i minimize it gets rid of those but then another problem persists...and i noticed when i minized it had a somewhat a quick flash of lines in the middle or so...
 
Are you overclocking (CPU, RAM, or GPU)? That can cause artifacts... Or the temperature - it's good to have it as cool as possible. If it gets too hot in there, it can go weird and cause problem like you're describing.

What are the other specs of the computer...?
 
this is relaly pissing me off, im having to restart in WoW, cause freezing, i have 2 fans on side blowing in and 2 exhaust fans on the rear
