Graphics Card or Not?

I do not have actual physical graphics card, its onboard, shared up to 64mb. Onboard meaning built into the Mother Board. When I look it up on the Intel site which I believe to be the manufacture, they call it a “chipset” 845g.

Anyhow I was in an online game and the talk of graphics cards came up. I said I did not have one. Was I right in saying this? Or is it in fact really a graphics card even though it’s onboard?

If it’s not a graphics card, how would I explain to people what I have, other then being told I am a liar. LOL

Yeah onboard is just a Graphics chip built into the mobo for your graphics which relys on system ram.

I had it before.

Okay thanks guys this explains things good. Now that I know I was not making a mistake, I can explain it better to them.
