Graphics Card Problem?

Ok i bought my computer not very long ago and for the first month or so it played games fine. Just a little while ago it started lagging quite badly, for example if I play Juiced 2 with more than one other car it will lag. I'm confused cos it used to play games more than fine. I thought it might be a gpu driver issue but I installed lasted drivers and still the same. As I said I'm confused so please help. System in sig.

did your computer come to this...suddenly?
since you didnt change your driver with the same game I dont think it's driver's problem.

Fill us in with more details.

Yeah it was pretty sudden like i played games for a while like cod4 fine then one day i just noticed it was lagging but not all games do it, it tends to be more demanding games. I dont really know what other details you want to know.

Yeah actually I just remembered I made a partition at about that time, give or take a few days, but it was with Paragon 8 cos I forgot to make it when I installed XP. The only thing is I have deleted Paragon since then and I cant just put it back on cos a friend gave it to me. Could this have caused the problem? Oh yeah and I have done numerous defrags ile give ccleaner a go though.

You mean you resized one of your current partition and made a new one? If the game was on the one with little space maybe.... Shouldn't be anything wrong with paragon 8. I've used it numerous times and northing's wrong over here. If ccleaner doesn't work I say post a hijack this log in the security section of the forum. But do a virus scan first. Try spybot search and destroy as well.

The largest possibility is your gpu overheating.check gpu's temperature first.
I dont think there's something wrong with your hard drive cos some other games run pretty well.
"not all games are lagging" ensures my thought.

Ok this is quite weird but just running CCleaner actually fixed Juided 2 (the car racing game) but one thing I forgot to mention is with this game is it doesnt lag all the time, like sometimes it will run fine then it will stuff up again. One thing that fixed it one time was i reinstalled all the mobo drivers but the next time I tried it, it didnt work. I dont have cod4 installed atm so I cant check if its fixed that too, somehow I doubt it will have because all games seem to have different problems. It could be a game error because sometimes it just quits by itself. Ile check my temps though.

Ok gpu temps are about 45C so that doesnt seem to be the problem. It actually stuffed up again since running CCleaner so I ran it again and it fixed it. Just now it came up with Juiced2_HIN.exe has encountered an error and mush close...sent report, dont not send report etc etc. This has happened before and I know it stuffs the game up and makes it lag. Any other ideas?
