i was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem.
my graphics card seems to make the colours on my screen all messed up and gives me a error message when i start my computer telling me that their is a problem with my graphics card.
i have restored my computer to last week when i didnt have the problem and i still get the problem.

my graphics card is a nvidea geforce 8400GS. i havnt had any problems with it before (apart from running hot) so i dont know why it chose now to stop working.

anyone know if its the graphics card that is causing this, and will i need to get a new one?

If it runs hot it may be worth checking for good air movement first. Check it's not clogged up with dust and all fans are operating, re-seat your card and try again.
That's the thing with electronics, no good reason for it to stop working and it can happen at any time, a GPU upgrade should be quite cheap from what you have now.

it seems to work now. i dissabled it and re-enabled it and it worked fine.
glad its working, getting a new computer sometime this week, and wanted to keep this one for network gaming.

my mistake im still getting the same problem.
even though a better one would be cheap, i havnt got the money because of my new computer. was hoping i could fix it.
