You have a PCIe slot, the longer black. But it depends on the card you pick if you have room for the card length wise and if you power supply is powerful enough to power it.

I got good news and bad news...

Good news:
1. The slot circled in RED is a PCI-E slot. It can accept graphics cards. I would assume it is a x8 slot by the look of the hardware in the picture.

Bad News:
1. I made an arrow on the PCI-E slot. I am almost 100% positive it can only accept a "single slot card" Which is just fine...there are many good single slot cards...but it will limit your choices.

2. To run a modern graphics card...the power supply will need to have the power to do so. I again am assuming you will have to buy another power supply also. You'll have to give us the exact make and model number of your computer then we can figure out your best option:D

Here is the spec sheet for your computer. They don't list an ab6200n they only list the a model.

Hp pavilion a6200n

You will need a new power supply if you plan on installing a new graphics card. Here are a few options for you to consider.

XFX 9600 GSO for $97 CAD (96 core not the 48 core)
Here

CORSAIR 450W for $75 CAD

He can get a double slot card, he just needs to remove the cover of the slot below and the vent or outputs will be out there. He just will not be able to put anything in the slot the GFX card is over.
