Hi All,
My motherboard, MSI 880G E-41 is not detecting my new graphics card Saphire HD 6790. After reading many posts I did all I could do to install the new graphics card but no use.
I uninstalled onboard video card, in bios for disabling I have set the "PRIMARY VIDEO ADAPTER: PCI-E" and then inserted the graphics card in PCIE slot. After plugging the VGA cable into video card, the monitor goes blank. Again when i plug into the onboard video card, the monitor displays and the onboard video gets detected. When I try to install the Radeon HD 6790 driver, it detects the my onboard card i.e. HD 4250 but not my new video card.
I think the BIOS setting for disabling onboard video is not available, or some other BIOS setting needs to be changed.
Any suggestions?
