Graphics Card to my Computer question

hey everyone this is my computer..

and i wanted to buy this graphics card

would the graphics card be compatible with this computer? also Minimum Power Supply Requirement: 400 Watt / 6-pin connector thats what is required so would my computer have the slots for the pin connectors?

The card will work with your motherboard, but since it's an OEM computer, i'm suspecting that it only has a 350W PSU.

You might need to buy a new PSU to run that card. They're not that expensive as it's usually around $30-$50 for a 500W one.

Actually I think it only has a 300W P/S with only like 16 amps total on the 12V rail. To run a 9800GT you would need a better P/S.

1. The specs of the Power Supply currnetly in the PC
2. What kind of things you want to accomplish with the card.

thats my coputer with 300 W power supply..so i guess i gotta get one higher.. and my money range is around 100-200

also..i just looked at my old computer and it has a 400 W power supply so would it be ok if i can just use this?

I thought it was a 300W P/S, post 3#. I recommend a minimum of 400/450W with 24/26 amps total on the 12V line for the average system running a 8800/9800GT.

Amperage. The 300W P/S you have is a single rail, meaning it has a single 12V rail/line with 16 amps. Some P/S have multiple 12V rails.

Well you didnt exactly explain what you wanted to use it for but i would say get a 8600gt or GTS because they are cheap and you could get by with that PSU. I wouldnt do it but if you are looking to save $ it could be a good option. For light gaming its a great card.
