Well, the computer turns on with the lights, fans and what not, but the videocards VGA input is like nothing ive seen before. it's width is much more than the VGA cable my computer has, I have no clue why it's so big, i looked online for a vga cable that looks like it, but i cant find one, help?

The graphics card is a R9 270X.

Yeah, the VGA cable my monitor has isnt as big as the cards input. I had no clue there was any difference.

The card's input is most likely a DVI port. If this is the case in the GPU box a DVI to VGA connector should have been in the box. Plug it into the DVI port in the GPU and then connect the VGA cable from your monitor to that.

Uh, quick question, would an HDMI cable running from my computer to the monitor work okay? Do I need to plug anything else into my computer from the monitor?
I'm really freakin out, this is my first build and I'm not sure about this...

Just plug the HDMI cable into the monitor and the video card and you'll be all set.

Any reason why nothing would come up on the display..?
My GPU lights turn on, my fans work, the LEDs work, but there's nothing on the display?
Any reasons why? Could RAM be the reason or anything else?

Even when you have the HDMI plugged in?

Were you sure to plug the 6-pin power cables from the PSU into the video card? How about the 4/8 pin CPU power cable? Is the RAM seated properly?

Alright, I re-seated the ram and I'll try again tomorrow, if anything happens I'll post it. It probably was the ram, because it wasn't fully plugged.

Edit: Ram can be the reason, right?

Yes. Unless it's fully seated in the slot the system won't work.
