Hi all, as is the way with computers (nothing is as simple as it tells you on the box). I recently purchased an Nvidia GeForce 8800GT and guess what I am having problems installing the thing into my system; I have been reliably informed that it would work.
My system setup is:
Windows Vista
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.40 GHz 1066 MHz 4MB L2 Cache
MOBO ASUS P5V-VM SE DH
1 processor - LGA775 Socket
4 memory - DIMM 240-pin
1 PCI Express x16
1 PCI Express x1
2 PCI
4 Gig Ram
600 Watt CPU
When I install the card the system will not even boot, I have updated the BIOS and I have made sure that the power lead is in the card.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Regards
