Graphics cards for Laptops?? :S

My friend wants a new graphics card for his laptop but i don't have a clue what ones are good and bad and what will fit and what won't. His Laptop is recent, came with Vista home installed and CPU is Core 2 Duo so it's a good laptop.

He want's to play CS Source and Bioshock on it, can anyone give me a link to a graphics card perfect for these? Something like the Geforce 8600GT for desktops would be ideal.
 
Most laptops don't have upgradable video cards. Without knowing the model, I can't say for sure, but I suspect you won't be able to upgrade it.
