www.tomshardware.com also has good reviews, benchmarks, and comparisons

http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php is a good site for comparing the specs on cards, however you can't solely go by specs, you need to look at some benchmarks.

I do prefer reviews of a few cards which they talk about in depth, however for a general idea on the performance of cards, this is a good site: http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.html
