This can get really annoying, but it recently started happening..
i'll post a screenshot of it when it happens in WoW

see the lines coming off the rogue's armor is what really annoys me.
and so i was wondering what i needed to do in order to fix it, i can't
just stop minimizing
it also gets a lot worse, the lines get bigger and sometimes the screen
starts flashing, i just end up closing wow and taking a break

please help

Are you overclocking your graphics card? Those are the typical artifacts that you will get when your graphics card is on the edge.

RiGhT.. its to enable your trainer / hack.. right.. lol.. im jp.. I had that problem also in Testdrive Unlimited.. I changed my refresh rate and it fixed it. give that a try.. let us kno.. c ya

I've already tried that, it's at 75 in game and on desktop, switched it to 65 for both and didn't notice a difference

edit: and hacks and bots on wow = lame, i'm all legit :p

ok.. well we got that out of the way.. are you pausing b4 you alt tab?.. if not try pausing first.. hmm. other than that I dono.. time for a reformat. I reformat about every month.. keeps it running so smooth. I have 2 partitions set up.. one for OSS.. one for all my backup, movies, music, game and program installers.. after a reformat it takes about 30 mins to get back to normal for me.. I have all the stuff i need to install in a seperate folder. works nice.

THAT IS NOT A GLITCH / VID CARD PROBLEM It is the sword of a thousand truths. Very nice item... It looks alot bigger than I would of though!

I was having the same issues with FEAR, those funky lines would show up in game(i wasn't task switching though) and then the screen would rapidly flash, and my computer would crash. After troubleshooting with XFX for about a week on my video card, the gave an rma to have it checked out, I just sent it in, so I haven't heard back from them yet, but you might want to check w/tech support on your card.
