Graphics question

Before you think me an outright idiot, remember that I had a stroke and my memory really sucks now.

Can I choose an option to run integrated graphics or use the GTX 570 plugged into a Biostar TH67+ ver.6.1 motherboard with an Intel Core i7 2600k, or am I just stuck with integrated graphics?
 
Once you add a graphics card, the onboard video usually gets disabled, so you have to use the graphics card usually.
 
Okay, thanks, one more question please....

The TH67+ has an HDMI port. To connect my computer to my HDTV, do I use that port or the one on the graphics card?
