Anybody else have this game for PC?

Anybody else find it stupidly hard, even on the easy setting?

Anybody else think they've made the save points too far appart and should have quick save?

Other than that, great game!

I'm stuck, and I'm starting to think I can't be bothered with it, I can't do the mission "Destroy The Bunkers". I get wasted no matter how I do it, my stupid team die 'trying' to shoot a .50cal.

I reach the zone and then the vehicles drive off and I have to go and blow up the bunkers, but I can't do it.

Stupid!

i have this game and have not made it past level 2 lol but i can't stop playing it

Level Two, Which one was that? How long have you had it?

It's so hard I can't believe they'd make it this hard, it's annoying, but it looks great, like you, I can't stop playing.
 
I have it too...unfortunately. You're right, the AI is crap. You tell your squad to move and they end up either going the complete wrong way (and getting shot) or simply doing nothing. It almost like they're drunk :D. I don't know how else to explain why a teammate doesn't notice that he is being shot at point blank range? And yes...the difficulty is unreal too. I lost count of the number of times I fought frantically for hours, wittled down to a near-death shell of a man, only to be met with a convoy of tanks! Then, ofcourse, the salt in the wound was definately the saving structure. The phrase: "WTF!!! You mean i have to start from the beginning of the ENTIRE LEVEL!" springs to mind. But yeah, to cut a long rant short, you're not the only one frustrated by this game. My advise to you is this: CHEAT. I'm sure there are hacks that could supply you with a useful advantage ;) .
 
level 2 is the demo level. The first actual one where you get to pick your own gear (yea i know im pathetic) and i've had it about a month maybe longer

But it looks SO good. I think I'm going to buy RainbowSix: Vegas!

Do you have GRAW? Where are you up to?
I can't find cheats for it anywhere though :confused:

I kind of remeber, It's not pathatec, hey, You've made it to the 2nd level, you need a medal! Trust me!!!

I think it's level 4 I'm on, I'm not too sure.

on the Ubisoft forums, lots of people are complaining about GRAW and it's difficulty and lack of quick save and load options!

The thing that bugs me the most, is that it looks so great and yet I can't do it, but a part of me wants to carry on playing it, but then again, I don't... :(
 
I don't mean to brag, but from looking at that walkthrough i'm pretty certain that I gave up on level 7. To be honest, by that point, the game had really started to get boring. I doubt greatly that the last few missions would have brought anything new to the game (except a whole load more frustration ofcourse).
I think I'm going to buy RainbowSix: Vegas!

Great idea! It's one of the best games i've ever played and infinately better than GRAW.
 
I played GRAW, and I must say.. Rainbow six: Vegas is way better. (AI wise, but also I find the gameplay to be much cooler :) )

GRAW is ok...graphics wise...I cant even force any anti aliasing on it!

Really!? I've got it on FULL settings, textures, AA, resolution, everything! :confused:

I think I know the one you're talking about.
After you get past the convoy of trucks, head through the shanty town on your left and follow the dirt track round the top of the cliff (the bunkers are all to the right of you at this point). Eventually you can cross over and assault the first bunker. Lob a few grenades down then send your squad in to clean up the remaining baddies. Pull them out and go and set the charges. After they blow, repeat the process with the other bunker on the opposite side of the valley.
I'm not sure if that helps or not. I'm afraid i'm trying to describe from memory so I may be thinking of a completely different level. Anyway, that's the basics. The hard part is trying to move from place to place without getting shot (i remember there being several gun emplacements). Hope you do better than i did. If not, just get Rainbow Six: Vegas. IT'S AWESOME.
 
Yeah, thats the one I was thinking of. I found it hard too. Trust me...it only gets harder after that and there really isn't that much to look forward to.
 
cheat! lol. at least then you can experience the rest of the game and if you dont go overboard with the cheats it could still be fun

You can't have AA, I can't remember what I have it on, the most, I thin it's x16, I'll check next time I'm on
 
I just beat the game last night. It took me forever. It was pretty tough even on easy but not impossible. I am not even going to try it on hard. I just wished they had a quick save. The A.I. was pretty crappy most of the time but they did help me out a couple of times.

Has anybody played GRAW 2 and is it worth getting?
 
I think it is, it is an improvement upon the first but relatively the same. Its fun if you enjoyed the first.
