Grrr! Getting so pissed off with this laptop!!!

For some reason my computer keeps making the screen brightness go to its lowest!
Im using windows xp.
I put the brightness back up then 5-10 seconds later it will reset to its lowest... Any ideas???
I just wanna tear this laptop apart!!! I'm just getting so pissed off!!!!!

You are probably running from the battery and you are running a power saving scheme. You need to change the setting most likely.
