My friend just got gta 4 but for some reason he can only click play offline when launching the game and can't click play, therefore he can't play it with me in multiplayer. Any ideas why?
 
Does he have Games for Windows Live installed? Has he created a Rockstar account for logging in purposes? That's all I can really think of.
 
Yes, and yes, the only weird thing is that the game never asked him to put in the cd-key so it's not activated and he doesn't know ho to activate it.
