GTA 5 update thread

I hope there are less racing missions especially in which we have to go through rings and circles, the tennis court shot looks beautiful, I think there are some stuff in which we can sell the houses that we buy.

Its really poor imo that Rockstar have not mentioned a god damn thing about this game yet,I mean whats happening with the PC version?

They say its available for pre-order on the 5Th but tell you nothing about the game your actually pre-ordering.

Ive got a feeling their purposely going to delay the PC version in hope that people will give in waiting for the PC version and buy it for PS3/Xbox....then later on when the PC version comes those people will also buy it on PC...so Rockstar get two sales from one person....AND it will work.

$$$$.

Hey guys, glad to see so much enthusiasm about the release announcement. For those asking about the PC platform, we're currently focused on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game and don't have any details to share about a PC version at this time. Anyone that continues to spam the comments section will have their commenting privileges suspended.

aha delay in the 2nd trailer

We are working on a second trailer - unfortunately Hurricane Sandy has derailed our plans somewhat but we will have something to show soon. It's hard to be precise as we have no power whatsoever in our New York office. We hope everyone else in affected areas is doing okay.

Probably like 2 months if there is one at all.

I dont recall any delays in PC release on 4, because I bought 2 copies for PC when it came out.

As for an update, the game is coming out spring 2013 so Im guessing that means februray along with all the other new games...

The past 3 R* games (RRD, Max Payne 3 and LA Noire) have been released in May so there's a chance of GTA 5 being released in may too.

Anyway, have you guys noticed the reference to Love Fist in the recent poster? I thought it was a really cool thing :D

I wouldnt think so. Isnt May summer? Thats a pretty late spring, here in central USA anyway...

Don't get me started about games being spelled with "honor" as well. It wouldn't take a whole lot of effort for correct localisation.

And then there's the stupid release dates with the month before the day :P

-You play as Albert DeSilva a half american half puerto rican american
-He is 42 years old and has an ex wife and 2 kids
- the show breaking bad has a little influence on the game as Albert is drawn to the life of crime from an older age for the money.
-You also play as Dougie Vejo a younger criminal just coming up in Los Santos
-Los Santos is the only large city, smaller towns round out the countrtyside.
- Grove Street makes a return, however Carl and Sweet are not in the game.
-Money plays a large part as Albert lost most of his in a ponzi like scheme.
-Property buying is back
-The only customization for characters are clothes/hair/facial hair. no gyms or tattoos
-one or more characters from 4 may show up
-car customization is back, seems more fitting for Dougie however Albert may be going through a midlife crisis.
-the triumphant return of Lovefist!!! or as the band is now known as the Jezzies.
-Songs confirmed so far: My Michelle-Guns and Roses, Magic Power- Triumph, California Dreaming- The beach boys and Beautiful-Snoop Dogg featuring Pharrell.
-New mini games include golf, tennis and surfing
- Mission played was called “Alimony” featured the scene from the trailer in which they rob the jewelry store

Oh yay.........GTA with a wife and kids....... how much will that take away from the game.... and who wants to play as an old guy with an ex wife and kids anyway? The point of a video game is to get away from things like that right?

I dont know, but I feel like Rockstar has lost its mind....

Ex wife you wouldnt talk to and she could have full possesion of them and it could just provide him with some motivation for something and they could be kidnapped or threatened in the story
