Gta iv

The games serial key is isnt exactly tied to a GFWL account....so in theory,you could sell it and someone else could create a GFWL account and use it,But....you get a maximum of 10 activations on GFWL and after that....your on your own because theres no support for GFWL and your locked out of multiplayer until you purchase a new code....

The game itself will always activate fine from rockstar...but once that new buyer/user has activated he may get the "Product key exceeded activation limit",Especialy if you have re-installed the game 4-5 times already.

offline account?..thats the whole point in making a gfwl account,So you can play online :P

Do you mean....single player account within the game?....if thats waht your talking about yes....But im just saying that give it after 10 or so activations on GFWL it locks up.

Trust me ive been through all this.
 
why don't you do what nevakonaza did and buy a cheap GFWL game and sell it with that code, so they get the number of installs left for GTA4, aswell as the ones from your £3 game :P ?

Yup thats what i did....i brought "The club" for under £3 and worked like a charm!

sod paying £15 for a new copy of GTA IV!
 
Awesome I was about to bump this thread :D

I guess I'll hang on to it then. I don't really feel like buying another game just to sell this one, unless someone wants it (it's only been installed twice).

As were on topic...just got an email from GFWL team....now they want to look into my complaint lmao and sort my problem out and the will be issueing me a new key....,Its only been like 3-4 months ive been asking for help!

and i fixed the problem myself!....At my cost!

But im still letting them sort it....then can send me a new key!

don't you now have about 20 uses then what with the new one and with the club :P ?

haha that is brilliant. My Fallout one and my GoW one has run out now :( Going to have to send off for new ones now, hopefully I will have more luck though and get them slightly faster than 4 months down the line :P
