I just installed San Andreas on the laptop in my sig, and when I start the game it basically runs through the first few splash screens and then gets to the screen with Game title, and then crashes to desktop with a general..game has stopping working..etc

action center in win7 recognizes a problem and prompts me to go to the Take2 website, but I an unable to find a resolution or reason for the crash!

It has worked fine on my other computer with Win7 pro x64 and much lesser specs.

I looked for a patch but I only found one that deals with disabling the 'Hot Coffee' issue.

Help Please.

try right clicking the icon, properties, then advanced or w/e and run it for xp see if that works? and there will definately be patches for it so try filefront or something :)

What a pain in the ass..

I cannot get this thing to work!! Work go past the startup splash screens, even with the 1 patch i did find!!

What an annoyance!

this game is a poc. i got it free dumpster diving and it's the buggiest game ever on pc.
good luck getting it to run.
i think if you lower the graphics settings to minimum, you can play it ok

Okay, just an update..

got it working..crash free..

I uninstalled,...reinstalled...took off display driver...reinstalled display driver and its all good!!

..worst part is..I wanna play something else now!
