I opened my case today and realized there is no way of removing my graphics card :/
Its so big I cant get my finger onto the small thing that holds it in place

lol , did you break the plastic clip on your pci express slot? You need to hold that forward and then remove the card.. Im guessing youve unscrewed the card and disconnected the wires from it?

similar post here, you may need something small to remove the plastic clip

Try tweezers, ive broken all my clips on my pci e slots and everything is still cool... just make sure you ground yourself and you wont need to wory about being fragile... do you have a micro atx case?

The clip was last seen when I was insterting the card and now I can not get to it! What do i do

Antec 300

Im always wearing one of these cool wristbands when working on a pc

you gotta find something long and skinny to be able to hit the clip, work your way from the back of the card... where the dvi cord enters, to the top of the card

I see what you mean, there is not much room on the board. From the looks of it, pop the memory out and see if you can get to the clip that way.

I got a video card in that case - and not quite sure you you lose the release clip. You on a micro-ATX board or something?

i had to work with that same card in the same case today! haha

dont fret if you broke the pci-e clip, or if you break it. snug screws to the case will suffice as long asyou arent really shipping the computer anywhere...

whats always worked for me is to use an allen wrench. they come in handy for pushing the clip underneath huge graphics cards in tiny cases :)

Today I wen to the store picked up a can of air, hell yeah xD and cleaned my system. I was swearing all the way through because of that Antec case, no cable managment at all  I also found a solution for that graphics card. You can push the clip from other side, only like 5mm is visible, get something sharp and push it while gently pulling card out, easy xD I also increased the fan speed for the Antec fans, from low to med, bit noisy but CPU now idles at 22C or so does everest show.

Thank you!
