gtx 295 still $500

why is the gtx 295 still $500? i mean, can it still compete with the cards in its price rang as in the gtx480,gtx580 and even the 5970? was it really that much of ahead of its time for it to be still $500+?ive never owed nor knew anyone that had one, so i cant comment on performance.

If it is dual gpu, and those other newer cards aren't, than that makes it equal to their performance.

You can find them all over at the [H] for like 200$ each, guys. Retailers still care about the fact that the card was once the top dog and the dual-GPU can really help F@H-ers.
