GTX 460 or 465?

Hi few days ago i posted that im going to upgrade to a new card. from a 4850 to a GTX 460. but now i went on new egg and i saw that the 465 is cheaper then the 460.

my question is, is the 465 better then a 460? the 465 is the next in line then followed by 470 and 480. so im guessing that the 465 is better then the 460?

if the 465 is a bit better then the 460 then i might actually get the 465 instead because the cheapest 460 i found on new egg is $219 vs. a 465 is $209.

and also what do you guys think about Palit GPU cards? is Palit a reliable company to buy a GPU from? if so i found this G TX 465 from them for with double fan for $219

Honestly grab the 460. revised architecture, so less heat and slightly better performance (if you compared a GF100 GTX 460 to a GF104 GTX 460, although this is jsut hypothetical)

My palit card is fine. has a beastly cooler as well.

oh so you have a Palit card huh? reason im not sure about them is because i never heard of them till a few months ago. are they a new company? or they been around but not as big of EVGA or ASUS? and if you recommend a Palit card i can look at the this Palit 460 card for $219

They've been around for a while but aren't exactly considered to be amongst the big brands. I bought my card used though.

If you do get a palit version, make sure it is a Sonic Platinum and not just a Sonic or Platinum as they have cheaper coolers.
