gtx 560 fermi vs radeon 6870

It's really not hard to google these days, but hey, everyone has done this before on this forum.

Anywhooo. All you need to know:

And yes, just like strangle said, the HD 6870 by a marginal amount.

Price wise, you can't beat the HD 6870.

BUT, take in mind, you asked about the GTX 560 and the HD 6870.

IF you were talking about the GTX 560 Ti vs the HD 6870, the GTX 560 Ti is the winner, but again, by a marginal amount.

In some instances, people have trouble with AMD's driver support compared to nVidia's. Personally, I never have, I guess it's all a matter of opinion.

I posted this before, in one of your many other threads, but it's a lot easier to just have 1 thread than have 10 threads all about the same thing.

But like they said, the 6870 wins because of price and performance which together make it the clear winner. Although if you would like to use Linux then the 560 might be worth the extra money as everyone says amd drivers in Linux suck.

Yeah the 6870 is probably one of the best bang for the buck GPU's at the moment. Pretty hard to beat, I saw one go used for $120 shipped on another forum I'm on yesterday.
